It's time for my annual, online advent calendar, which this year features pictures from my 17-day birding tour of Ghana. My first day in Ghana was spent in the lovely Shai Hills reserve, an open, savannah-type woodland where one of my first new birds was this Yellow-mantled Widowbird.
